This goes out to my friend who came and made me check myself into the hospital after trying to kill myself. I am glad I woke up alive in a tub of blood and wasn’t dead. I’m glad you let me know that it was shitty what I almost did. I thank you because if you hadnt said the right things, I would have tried again. Since then, I have turned my life around (albeit slowly) and am one year away from being a nurse. I carry you and your love with me every day. I’m here thanks to you. I saw a woman give birth the other day, something that had a profound effect on me. I would have missed that amazing moment. I would have missed so much, 5 years worth of life so far. Thank you.
